Attention CFE Members:

Please join us for our November Chapter Meeting on November 14th @ 11:30 at River Hills Country Club.  Our luncheon will be led by Jamey Young, IT Manager for Haddox Reid Eubank Betts PLLC who will speak on "Protecting Your Private Data in a Hostile Interconnected World."

Please join us for Great Food and Fellowship!

Jamey Young serves as the Information Technology Manager of Haddox Reid Eubank Betts PLLC which offers assurance, tax, consulting, peer review and client accounting services to individuals, privately held businesses, non-profits and governmental entities. He is responsible for maintaining information technology strategies by managing staff; researching and implementing technological strategic solutions and consulting with the firm’s clients on technology issues.

Prior to joining Haddox Reid, Young owned and operated his own IT consulting business that serviced a variety of different clients. From the small single office to the multiple office environments he worked with these clients to create solutions to everyday technology issues. He also has worked at Steel Service Corporation as a system technician which exposed him to industrial technology and how it is applied in factory settings.

With these various experiences Mr. Young has touched a broad array of technology in his over 20 year’s professional career. From DOS to the newest Windows Server OS, he has seen technology change and mature into a strategic business asset and partner that many companies rely on to continue growth and success.

Mr. Young currently serves as President of the Jackson Chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals. Joining AITP in 2007 he has served on the Board of Directors multiple times as well as Vice President and Treasurer. He worked to grow the relationships with various IT companies in the area to help sponsor events to encourage networking and growth of the local IT Profession. He has presented and spoke at Delta State annual IT conference held by the Student Chapter of AITP there. He has organized various tours and CEO panel discussions to facilitate a broader knowledge of IT in Mississippi.

He also serves as a Troop 427 Committee Chairman of the Boy Scouts of America.

Mr. Young is married and has three children who also keep him on his toes with technology.
