The Central Mississippi Chapter

Ten charter members founded the Central Mississippi Chapter in 1995.  The Central Mississippi Chapter is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fraud detection, prevention and deterrence. Continuing education related to fraud is an integral part of membership.  The Central Mississippi Chapter membership is comprised of approximately 250 Certified Fraud Examiners and Associate members.  Chapter meetings are held bi-monthly in Jackson, Mississippi, and are open to the public.  Visitors are welcome.

Our Mission

The primary mission of the Central Mississippi Chapter is to promote fraud detection and deterrence. Meetings and seminars provide participants with a broader knowledge base related to fraud. In addition to education, members enjoy professional networking opportunities. The Chapter's training program offers members quality continuing education opportunities at a modest cost.  Training provided by the Chapter is approved by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners; therefore, the CPE qualifications required by NASBA (the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy) are met.
